Companies with a GDP-certificate with validity date end December 2024,  should have received – addressed to their RP – a communication from the FAMHP with regard to the GDP-certificate expiring in December 2024.

In parallel, the below communication was sent out by FAMHP to MAHs:

For certificates expiring at the end of 2024, the following applies:

  • All companies concerned are individually informed of the follow-up methodology applicable to them.
  • The risk analysis may lead to one of the following inspection activities:
    • Requesting specific information and documentation (administrative control);
    • Conducting a site visit, if deemed necessary.

So the procedure is:

– Each company should have been contacted in December with a concrete follow-up procedure.

– Companies whose certificate expires in 2025 will be contacted individually during 2025.

– In case of a positive evaluation of inspection activities, a new GDP certificate will be awarded. If necessary, the normal validity period of five years will be shortened.
