Minister Clarinval has decided to extend the tolerance period for derogations in language legislation by one year, until Dec. 31, 2025.
Until 31/12/2025, the FASFC (Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain) will not impose fines for labels that do not conform to the language legislation. Inspections remain possible, but they will not result in penalties as long as the tolerance period is in effect.
