The Technical Document on Cosmetic Claims came into effect on July 1st 2019. The Technical Document is a reference for the national competent authorities.
The Technical Document is in fact a collection of ‘best practice examples’ and serves as a guidance for the practical application of the Claims Regulation (N ° 655/2013). New are the addition of specific guidance for the “free from” and the “hypoallergenic” claims.
