As previously announced, the FAMHP is actively working on an electronic system to replace the current system of paper narcotic order forms.

From 1 July 2023 to 31 August 2023, there will be a transition period during which the new system will be available to all. During that period, it will remain a legal requirement to continue using the paper forms, as well as providing monthly sales records. The transition period is designed to familiarise yourself with the new system and how it works, and to check that the data you provide is received and processed correctly. However, entering data into the new system will then be on a voluntary basis. If you decide to enter data into the system, it is important that this data is real so that we can verify that it matches the monthly sales records.

From 1 September 2023, we will officially switch to the digital system and paper forms will be a thing of the past. This also means that monthly sales registers will then no longer need to be provided to us by e-mail.
