On 9/04/2024 CBG published three new implementing acts regarding the new legislation on packaging for veterinary medicines in Europe. The following implementing acts (IAs) have been published:
Implementing regulation (EU) 2024/875:
This regulation establishes a list of abbreviations and pictograms commonly used throughout the European Union to be used on the packaging of veterinary medicinal products for the purposes of Articles 10(2) and 11(3) of Regulation (EU) 2019/6.
Implementing regulation (EU) 2024/878:
This regulation lays down uniform rules on the size of small primary packaging units of veterinary medicinal products referred to in Article 12 of Regulation (EU) 2019/6.
Implementing regulation (EU) 2024/916:
This regulation amends Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/17 establishing a list of variations for which no assessment is required.
