The FAMHP has developed a new online form for reporting suspected adverse events of treatments in animals. In this way the safety profile of the medicines can be improved.
At www.eenbijwerkingmelden-dieren.be or www.notifieruneffetindesirable-animaux.beit is possible to easily report:
– Adverse reactions in animals and humans of medicines authorised for veterinary use
– Adverse reactions in animals of medicinal products authorised for human use
– Lack of expected efficacy
– Residues in milk or tissues
– Environmental toxicity
All data are uploaded into the Eudravigilance database of the European Medicines Agency (EMA).
