Commission Regulation (EU) 2021/418 of 9 March 2021 amends Directive 2002/46/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council regarding nicotinamide riboside chloride and magnesium citrate malate used in the manufacture of food supplements and the units of measurement used for copper.
Annex I follows (Vitamins and minerals which may be used in the manufacture of food supplements) is amended as:
- The entry ‘Copper (μg)’ is replaced by the following: ‘Copper (mg)’.
Annex II (Vitamin and mineral substances which may be used in the manufacture of food supplements) is amended as follows:
- The following entry is added ‘nicotinamide riboside chloride’;
- The following entry is added ‘magnesium citrate malate’.
